Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (275): A person asked Hazrat that what is the definition of faith? You said to come to me tomorrow so that I can tell you on this occasion so that other people can also hear that if you forget, others will remember. Therefore, speech is like a prey caught in the hands of one person and escapes from the hands of another. (Sayyid Radi says) The Prophet then replied that it was his guidance that "Iman Ali Arba Sha'b" (There are four types of faith).

In Wisdom (275), Imam Ali (a.s.) addresses the nature of greed and desire. This saying reflects the historical context of a time when people often pursued worldly possessions at the expense of their spiritual well-being. The wisdom serves as a reminder of the futility of chasing after desires that ultimately lead to disappointment.

The Imam states that greed leads a person to a watering place but does not quench their thirst, symbolizing the idea that worldly desires can often leave one feeling empty and unfulfilled. This teaches us to control our desires and reflect on whether what we seek is truly beneficial for us.

He further emphasizes that while it may be easy to take on responsibilities, fulfilling them is a different challenge. This is a crucial lesson about the importance of commitment and accountability. Many individuals neglect their responsibilities in pursuit of their desires, leading to regret and loss.

Finally, the Imam points out that aspirations can blind one's insight. This serves as a vital reminder that we should not let our desires cloud our judgment. Instead, we should appreciate what we have and understand that what is meant for us will come to us without excessive striving.
