Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation : 282

Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (282): Know with full certainty that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has not decreed for a servant more sustenance than what has been ordained for him in divine destiny, even if his plans are great, his quest is intense, and his plans are powerful. And for a servant, due to this weakness and unemployment, there is no obstacle in reaching his prescribed sustenance in Loh Mahfooz. The one who understands this fact and practices it is more active than all the people in the comforts of usury and profit, and the one who ignores it and doubts about it is suffering from waste more than all the people. Stay on it.

This wisdom reflects the insight and faith of Imam Ali (a.s.). A key theme is that a person's sustenance is already predetermined, and there can be no change to it. This teaches us that while a person may increase their efforts and ambitions, their sustenance will remain limited to what Allah has ordained for them.

The historical context of this wisdom lies in the challenges faced by people during Imam Ali's (a.s.) lifetime. There was growing anxiety and uncertainty among the populace regarding economic conditions. Through this wisdom, Imam Ali (a.s.) conveyed the message that people should have faith in their destiny and trust in Allah's wisdom.

This wisdom instructs us to combine our efforts with faith in Allah's will. If we understand our destiny and act accordingly, we can achieve true contentment rather than merely chasing worldly gains.

Imam Ali (a.s.) reminds us that those who doubt Allah's distribution suffer more difficulties in their lives. Therefore, it is essential to cultivate certainty in our hearts and be content with Allah's provisions.

Finally, the practical aspect of this wisdom is that we should strive for balance in our lives. We must work hard while also maintaining faith in Allah's will and distribution. This balance will assist us in navigating life's challenges more effectively.
