Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (381): A period will come upon the people when only the impressions of the Qur'an and the mere name of Islam will remain in them, at that time the mosques will be inhabited in terms of construction and decoration and desolate in terms of guidance. Those who stay in them and inhabit them will be the worst of all the people of the earth, they will be the source of temptations and the center of sins. Allah has said that "I will send such a trial on those people by Myself, in which I will leave the meek and the tolerant in a state of amazement and perplexity". So he will do the same, we ask Allah for forgiveness from the stumbles of negligence.

In Wisdom (381), Imam Ali (peace be upon him) emphasizes the significance of speech and its consequences. This wisdom conveys that a person's words reflect their thoughts and intentions. As long as we do not speak, our words are under our control, but once we utter them, we become bound by their effects. This powerful message urges us to protect our speech just as we would safeguard our precious possessions.

Historically, this wisdom reflects a time when societal issues and moral decline were rampant. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) advised people to refrain from the careless use of their tongues, as certain words can take away great blessings and bring about calamities.

A key theme in this wisdom is understanding the power of language. It serves as a reminder that what we say holds significance, both for ourselves and for others. Often, a thoughtless word can lead to the loss of our happiness or damage our relationships with others.

The essence of this wisdom is that we must guard our speech, as it is a crucial part of our identity. We should speak thoughtfully and consider the impact of each word. This not only improves our own lives but also fosters positive changes in our communities.
