Wisdom Wisdom : 270

Wisdom (270): When Amirul Momineen (peace be upon him) received the information that Muawiya's companions had attacked (the city of) Anbar, he stood up on foot in a very sophisticated manner. He even reached Nakheela, in the meantime people also reached him and said, O Ameerul Momineen (peace be upon him)! We will deal with the enemy. You don't need to visit. You said that you cannot save me from yourself, how will you save me from others? Before me, the subjects used to complain about the oppression of their rulers, but today I complain about the excesses of my subjects, as if I am a subject and they are rulers and I am a subject and they are rulers. (Sayyid Razi says that) When Amirul Momineen (A.S.) said these words under a long speech, the selected part of which we have recorded in the sermon, two of his companions stood up and one of them said, "O Amirul Momineen (A.S.), I have no authority over anyone except myself and my brother, so you give us an order and we will fulfill it." Upon this, Hazrat said, "What I want can be done by you two men."
