You have destroyed a large group of people and deceived them with your misguidance. And you have thrown them into the waves of your sea. Darkness has covered them and waves of doubts are slapping them, after which they have gone astray from the straight path. And they turned away from aid and hurried towards Allah, while you caused them difficulties and diverted them from the path of moderation. O Muawiya! Fear Allah about yourself and snatch your crown from the hand of Satan, because the world will be cut off from you anyway and the Hereafter has reached you. Peace be upon you.
