Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (11): The most helpless among people is the one who does not get something good for himself in his age, and even more helpless is the one who gets it and loses it.

This wisdom reflects the profound insight of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) regarding critical aspects of human life. It was articulated during a time when societal and economic challenges were prevalent, and individuals were struggling to achieve success in their lives. Imam Ali (a.s.) expressed this thought in a context where social issues and personal failures were common.

The wisdom highlights two significant types of helplessness. The first is the person who fails to achieve any goodness in their lifetime. This condition reflects an inability to bring about positive changes in one's life, which are essential for spiritual and moral growth.

The second type of helplessness is even more severe: it refers to the individual who attains some goodness but subsequently loses it. This situation indicates that when a person achieves success, they lack the capacity to maintain it, which is a sign of weakness and failure.

Through this wisdom, Imam Ali (a.s.) teaches us that both achieving success in life and the ability to preserve it are crucial. It is the responsibility of individuals to safeguard the goodness they acquire through their efforts.

Morally and spiritually, this wisdom instructs us to seek positive things in our lives and to protect them. It emphasizes that it is our duty to attain goodness and to prevent its loss.

Practically, this wisdom suggests that one should cultivate perseverance in their efforts and be mindful of their achievements. It reminds us that success in life is not only about what we gain but also about how we manage and maintain those gains.
