Wisdom (137): He heard a person saying the evil of the world and said: O evildoers of the world, those who are deceived by it!

This wisdom reflects the profound insight of Imam Ali (a.s.), highlighting the transient nature of the world and its deceptions. It is set in a context where people were deeply engrossed in worldly pursuits, chasing after fleeting pleasures, while the ultimate reality is that life is temporary and culminates in death. Imam Ali (a.s.) reminds individuals that their efforts and treatments may sometimes fail, and their primary goals may not be achieved.

This wisdom also emphasizes the importance of turning to Allah amidst the distractions of worldly life. Imam Ali (a.s.) makes it clear that giving charity is an excellent means to avoid the traps of worldly deceptions. Charity is not only a form of financial assistance but also a source of spiritual tranquility and a means of seeking Allah's pleasure. Through charity, one can attain blessings in their sustenance.

This wisdom teaches us to prepare for the Hereafter rather than being engulfed by worldly attachments. We should evaluate our actions and strive to improve our lives based on that evaluation. Giving charity, helping others, and spending in the way of Allah are essential for our spiritual growth.

Furthermore, Imam Ali (a.s.) reminds us that any joy found in this world is temporary, while true happiness lies in the Hereafter. Instead of pursuing ephemeral worldly pleasures, we should focus on obtaining Allah's pleasure and preparing for eternal life.
