Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation : 391

Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (391): There are two types of sustenance. One who is in search of you, and one who is in search of you. If you can't reach him, he will reach you. So don't worry a whole year on your one day worry. Every day's sustenance is sufficient for you, so Allah will give you every new day the sustenance He has ordained for you, and there is not a year left in your life. (Sayed Radi says) This word has already been recorded in this chapter. But here was something with more explanation and interpretation, so we have repeated it based on the rule that has been passed in the preface of Book B.

In Wisdom (391), Imam Ali (peace be upon him) advises detachment from the world in order to become aware of its evils. This wisdom comes from a time when people were engrossed in worldly affairs and had forgotten the importance of the hereafter. Imam Ali's words convey that love for the world can lead to negligence of spiritual matters.

The call to "detach from the world" teaches us not to become so absorbed in worldly possessions that we neglect our spiritual well-being. Detachment does not imply complete withdrawal from the world, but rather that we should not make worldly pursuits the center of our lives.

This wisdom also reminds us that Allah is not oblivious to our state. If we strive to avoid the evils of the world, Allah will enlighten us about their realities. It signifies that Allah's mercy and guidance are always with us, and we need to keep our intentions and efforts sincere.

The moral and spiritual lesson here is that instead of chasing transient worldly pleasures, we should prepare for our hereafter. This wisdom conveys the message that attachment to the fleeting things of this world can divert us from the path of Allah, thus we should strive to purify our hearts from the love of worldly gains.
