Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (437): He who corrects his internal conditions, God also corrects his outward appearance. And whoever works actively for religion, Allah fulfills his worldly affairs and whoever maintains a good relationship between himself and Allah. God settles matters between Him and His servants.

In Wisdom (437), Imam Ali (a.s.) addresses a significant question regarding the superiority of justice (Adl) over generosity (Sakha). This question arises in a historical context where societal and political structures often required individuals to choose between fairness and benevolence. The Imam states that justice places everything in its rightful place, meaning that through justice, every individual and matter is assessed according to its status and needs.

Here, the Imam emphasizes the importance of justice as a universal principle essential for the welfare of all individuals. Justice implies giving everyone their due and addressing their needs according to their circumstances. In contrast, generosity is limited to those who receive something, making it a specific act rather than a general principle.

The statement by Imam Ali (a.s.) teaches us that establishing justice is the foundation of social equity, while generosity is an additional virtue. Although generosity is a commendable act, its impact is limited in the absence of justice in society. Therefore, the Imam declares justice to be superior to generosity.

This wisdom imparts the lesson that we should always prioritize justice and strengthen societal systems based on it. Without justice, the foundation of any social system becomes weak, and true equity cannot be achieved.
