This wisdom emphasizes the understanding of divine decree and destiny. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) clarifies that if everything were predetermined, there would be no purpose in reward or punishment, and thus, human actions would hold no significance. He stresses that God has granted humans free will, allowing them to make choices and be accountable for them.

Furthermore, the Imam highlights that God has made the path of obedience easy and has not burdened His servants with impossible tasks. This serves as a reminder that God is merciful and rewards even small acts of goodness with immense rewards.

The moral lesson here is the importance of recognizing our autonomy in decision-making and the responsibility that comes with it. It encourages individuals to reflect on their actions and strive for righteousness, knowing that their efforts are meaningful and valued by God. This wisdom also serves as a spiritual reminder that life has purpose and is not without significance, urging us to live with intention and integrity.
