Wisdom (81): A person’s worth is determined by the skill they possess. This profound statement emphasizes the intrinsic value of individuals based on their abilities and talents. The historical context of this wisdom is rooted in the teachings of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), who emphasized the importance of recognizing one’s skills as a measure of worth.

In this wisdom, it is articulated that the value of a person is directly linked to the skills they possess. If an individual has a particular talent, their worth is commensurate with that skill. This can encompass various forms of expertise, such as knowledge, art, or practical skills. It also suggests that true value lies in one’s abilities rather than social status or wealth.

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) teaches us through this statement that we should strive to enhance our skills and recognize our capabilities. It serves as a spiritual lesson that every individual should appreciate their inner potential and work towards refining it.

Not only is this beneficial for personal growth, but it also plays a crucial role in societal advancement. Each person should aim to establish their place in society based on their skills and serve as an example for others.
