He was often silent and if he spoke, he silenced the speakers and quenched the thirst of the questioners. Thus, he was humble and weak, but when the opportunity of Jihad came, he was a lion and a dragon of the valley. The arguments he presented were decisive. He did not reprimand anyone in those things that had room for excuse, he did not mention any pain until he heard his excuse, but when he got rid of it, he said what he did, and what he did not do, he did not say. So he used to see which one of the two was closer to the soul, so he used to oppose him. Therefore, you should acquire these habits and qualities and practice them and be desirous of them.
