Sermon (195): You (a.s.) performed the rites and burial duties of the Prophet
Those Companions of the Prophet who were entrusted with (the laws of the Sharia) are well aware that I have never disobeyed the commandments of Allah and His Messenger, and I supported the Prophet with my heart and soul, on the basis of the manhood with which Allah has exalted me, on those occasions when the brave (stealth) ran away and retreated (instead of advancing) when the Messenger When he passed away, his head was on my chest and when his soul passed away in my hands, I turned my hands over my face (in blessing). I performed the duty of bathing him. In this world, the angels were waving my hand. They were coming. We even hid them in the grave, so now who can be more entitled to them during their life and after death than me? (When you have come to know my truth) then you rise with sincere intention to wage jihad against the enemy in the light of insight. By the One besides whom there is no god, I am indeed on the right path and they (the people of Syria) are on such a precipice of falsehood that they will slip. You are listening to what I am saying. I am asking Allah for forgiveness for me and you.
