Letter (42): In the name of the ruler of Bahrain, Umar Ibn Abi Salama Makhzoomi, when he deposed him, he appointed Noman Ibn Ajlan Rizqi in his place.
I have not given Nu'man Ibn Ajlan Rizqi the command of Bahrain, and I have expelled you from it. But it is not because you are considered incompetent and you are being blamed. The fact is that you have run the government in a very good manner, and you have fully paid the trust, so you should come to me. There is no suspicion of you, nor can you be blamed. This is the incident. That I intend to step towards the oppressors of Syria, and want you to stay with me, because you are one of those people from whom I can take help in fighting the enemy and destroying the religion. Inshallah.
