Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (41): The same meaning is also mentioned by the Prophet in other words, and that is, "The heart of a fool is in his mouth and the tongue of a wise man is in his heart". However, the purpose of these two sentences is the same.

This wisdom reflects the insight and understanding of Imam Ali (a.s.). The historical context is rooted in a time when Imam Ali emphasized the importance of knowledge and wisdom in Islamic society. The primary purpose of this saying is to highlight that foolish individuals tend to speak impulsively, while wise individuals communicate thoughtfully.

The wisdom mentions two key characters: the fool and the wise person. The heart of a fool is in his mouth, meaning that he speaks without thinking, which is indicative of his foolishness. On the other hand, the tongue of a wise person is in his heart, suggesting that he speaks only after careful consideration and reflection.

This wisdom teaches us the importance of choosing our words wisely. Foolishness often involves haste and carelessness, while wisdom encompasses patience and contemplation. Consequently, wise individuals tend to have a more significant impact with their words.

Practically, we should exercise caution in our speech. Before expressing our thoughts, we should consider whether what we are saying is true and meaningful. In doing so, we not only value our intellect but also positively influence those around us.
