Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation Nehjul Balagah Detailed Explanation : 486

Detailed Explanation — Wisdom (486): He said in one of the prayers of Taal Baran: God's Bar! Water us with submissive clouds, not with those clouds that are rebellious and loud Sayyid Razi says that this speech contains strange eloquence. In such a way that Amirul Momineen (peace be upon him) has compared the clouds with thunder, lightning, wind and lightning to those camels that kick their feet on the ground with their mouths and throw their litter and knock down their riders. And Abar, devoid of these terrible things, has been likened to camels which are submissive in milking and ride according to the will of the rider.

Wisdom (486): In one of the prayers of Taal Baran, he said: "O God! Water us with submissive clouds, not with those clouds that are rebellious and loud." This prayer is an excellent example of the eloquence and rhetoric of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). It presents a comparison between two types of clouds. On one hand, there are the clouds that come with thunder, lightning, and storms, and on the other, there are the soft and submissive clouds.

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) likens these clouds to camels. The rebellious clouds are compared to camels that act on their own, kicking their feet on the ground and throwing off their riders. In contrast, the submissive clouds are likened to she-camels that are gentle and follow the will of their rider. This analogy highlights the importance of order and discipline in human life.

This wisdom teaches us to choose things in our lives that are beneficial. We should avoid the rebellious and uncontrollable elements and seek those that bring us peace and comfort. The prayer is essentially a spiritual request for those things that will bring tranquility and blessings into our lives.

Another important aspect of this prayer is that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is seeking God's mercy. It reminds us that we should always seek the mercy and guidance of Allah, as it is the key to success in our lives.
