Sermon (137): He Said on the Occasion of the Shura

He said on the occasion of the Shura: No one before me advanced so quickly toward preaching truth, maintaining family ties, and generosity and kindness. So listen to my words and remember my sayings, for you will soon see that from after this day, swords will be drawn for caliphate, and covenants and promises will be broken, until some people will stand as leaders of misguided people, and some will become followers of ignorant ones.
