Sermon Sermon : 213

Sermon (213): Your prayer words

Those prayerful words of Amirul Momineen (peace be upon him) that often continued on your tongue. All praise is due to Allah who has placed me in such a state that I am neither dead, nor sick, nor my veins attacked by leprosy germs, nor caught in bad deeds, nor childless, nor apostate from religion, nor a denier of my Lord, nor wild from faith, nor my mind has become fatwar, nor am I afflicted with the punishment of the first nations. ) Your evidence has been exhausted on me, and there is no room for excuses for me. God! I have no power to attain anything except that which You bestow upon me, and no power to avoid anything except that which You keep me from. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being poor in Your hands in spite of Your wealth, or from going astray under Your guidance, or from being persecuted or humiliated while living in Your kingdom. While all the powers are available to you. God! Among those fine things of mine which you will take away. Give priority to my soul and make it the first trust among the trusts entrusted to me, which you will take back. O Allah! We seek Your refuge from turning away from Your guidance or falling into such temptations that we turn away from Your religion.
