Sermon (53): On the Qualities of the Sacrificial Animal
This mentions Eid al-Adha and those qualities that should be present in the sacrificial sheep. The completeness of the sacrificial animal is that its ears should be raised (i.e., not cut) and its eyes should be sound and healthy. If the ears and eyes are healthy, then the sacrifice is also healthy and complete in every way, even if its horns are broken. And it should reach the place of slaughter by dragging its feet (Allama Razi says that in this sermon, 'mansalik' refers to the place of slaughter).
