Sermon (78): On Criticizing Women After the Battle of Jamal

O people! Women are deficient in faith, deficient in shares, and deficient in intellect. The proof of deficiency in faith is that during their menstrual period they must abandon prayer and fasting. The proof of deficiency in intellect is that the testimony of two women equals that of one man. The deficiency in share is that their inheritance share is half that of men. Beware of evil women, and be cautious even with good women. Do not accept their good words lest they advance to impose evil words upon you.
