Letter (35): Names of Abdullah Ibn Abbas after the martyrdom of Muhammad Ibn Abi Bakr in Egypt
Egypt was conquered by the enemies and Muhammad Ibn Abi Bakr was martyred. I ask Allah to deliver me quickly from their hands, if I had not wished for martyrdom when facing such an enemy and had not prepared myself for death, then I would not have liked to stay with them even for a day and would never have gone out to fight the enemy with them.
