Sermon Sermon : 100

Sermon (100): On the Seditions That Will Arise Later

There will be such a day when Allah will gather all the former and latter for the scrutiny of accounts and the recompense of deeds. They will stand before Him in a state of humility. Sweat will reach their mouths and put a rein in their mouths. The earth will tremble and shake with these people. At that time, the most fortunate will be the one who gets a place to plant both his feet and open space to breathe. A part of this sermon is: They will be seditions like pieces of a dark night. (Horses') reins will not be able to face them, nor can their banners be turned back. They will come to you in such a way that their reins will be tightened and their saddles will be fastened. Their forerunner will drive them quickly, and the one who mounts them will exhaust them. Those people are from a nation whose attacks are harsh and whose plundering is less. That nation will fight them in the path of Allah, which will be low and degraded in the view of the arrogant, unknown on earth, and known in the sky. O Basra! Woe to your condition when the armies of Allah's punishment will fall upon you, in which there will be no dust rising and no noise and clamor, and your inhabitants will be afflicted with killing and severe hunger.
