Sermon (234): : He said about providing for the next generation in this world and performing deeds before death

Do the deeds, now that you are in the abundance of life, the books of deeds are open and the foot of repentance is spread, the one who turns away from Allah is being called, and the sinners are being given hope, before the light of action fades, and the respite slips away, and the period ends, and the door of repentance is closed, and the angels ascend to heaven. A person should benefit from himself for his own sake and from the living for the dead and from the mortal for the rest. He should fear Allah, the man is the one who controls his soul by giving it reins and by putting up its reins, and by means of reins, he prevents him from disobeying Allah and by holding his reins, pulls him towards obedience to Allah.
