Biting them with our teeth and holding them in our claws, they came down to that to which We ourselves had called them. So We accepted their offer and quickly accepted their desire. Thus the proof became clear to them and there was no room for excuses for them. Now the one among them who will remain firm in his covenant. He will be the one whom Allah saved from destruction and the one who was stubborn and went astray. If he goes, then he will be a covenant breaker on whose heart Allah has set a seal, and the events of the age will continue to hover over him.
