Sermon (215): He said about the atrocities of Quraysh and the atrocities of those who attacked Basra
God! I am asking for your help in taking revenge from Quraysh because they have broken the bonds of my kinship and affection and have obscured my dignity and have refused to dispute the right of which I am the most qualified and said that it is also a right that if you are prevented from it, be patient in the state of grief and sorrow or die of grief and sorrow. I did not see any helper except my Ahl al-Bayt, nor did any chest appear to be superior and determined, so I was stingy to put them to death. I was stingy in my eyes, but I had snares (of grief and sorrow) in my throat, but I continued to swallow my saliva and because of drinking my anger, I endured such situations that are more bitter than Khuntal (Andrain) and like the claws of the knives of the heart. were more tragic. Syed Radi says that this word of Hazrat has been passed in the context of an earlier sermon, but I have repeated it again because there is some difference in the words of the two traditions. Here is a part of the same sermon, in which the people who stood out to fight you in Basra, they attacked my agents and the treasurers of the treasury of the Muslims, whose authority was in my hands, and the residents of the city (Basra), who were all obedient to me and steadfast in my allegiance. And they fell upon my followers and killed a group of them treacherously (of course).
