Sermon (216): When he saw Talha and Abd al-Rahman bin Uttab killed in the battlefield, he said

When he passed by Talha and Abd al-Rahman ibn Atab ibn Asayd, when they were lying dead in the field of Jamal, he said: Abu Muhammad (Talha) is lying away from the family in this place. By God! I did not like that the Quraish should lie slain under the stars (in the open fields).
