Letter (71): In the name of Munzar Ibn Jaru Abdi, while he betrayed some of the things that you had entrusted to him.
The incident is that your father's healthy attitude deceived me about you. I used to think that you would also follow his ways and follow his path. But suddenly I got such information about you which shows that you do not give up on following your selfish desires and do not want to leave any burden for the hereafter. What I have come to know, if it is true, the camel of your family is better than your shoe strap. Whoever is a man of manners like you is not worthy to be broken by him, or to do any work, or to raise his status, to share him in a trust or to be satisfied with him to prevent betrayal.
Sayyid Radi says that this Munzir is the one about whom Amirul Momineen (peace be upon him) said that he looks at his arms here and there and walks proudly in his two cloaks and keeps blowing on his shoelaces (so that the dust does not accumulate on him).
